How to Assign a new Item to the current/active Project

	What to do:
	To work through this example you must have completed the example Select a current/active Job&Project.
	Open Project-4.
	Select the Items tab.
	To change to insert mode click .
	In the Item Number field click . The Items list is opened.
	Select ITM-01 Software Processing Unit from the Items list.
	If ITM-01 is not existing, it can be created direcly in the Items list. To create items, manager privileges are required!
	To save the entry click .
	ITM-01 Software Processing Unit is assigned to Project-4.
	Please note that any object-project assignment can only be performed by a user with manager privileges. Therefore, it is not possible for USER-5 to assign an object to Project-4a - although USER-5 is assigned to this project via a job function!
