Multi-Organization Access Rights

Assign a Manager to the top-level Organizational Unit

	As a prerequisite for this example, you must have completed the example Create a top-level Manager!
	You must be logged in to Agile e6 as the DataView Manager!
	Select Manager > Permissions > Role Model > Job Functions. The Job Function mask is opened.
	To change to insert mode click .
	The Identifier field will be filled automatically.
	In the User field click . The Users (No Insert) list is opened.
	Select HRMANAGER from the list.
	In the with Role field click . The Roles list is opened.
	Select the role EDB-ORANIZATION-MNG from the Roles list.
	The Valid From field is filled automatically with the current date but can be changed to any date!
	In the Valid Until field enter the date 06/26/2008.
	In the or Organization field click . The Companies/Departments list is opened.
	Select Headquarter from the Companies/Departments list.
	To save the entries click .
	The HRMANAGER is assigned to the top-level organizational unit Headquarter via a job function.
	It is also possible to assign a group instead of a single user to an organizational unit!
	Please note that the access on organizational units and subordinate organizational units expires with the validity date defined for the job function!
