Define a required Role with Privileges

	As a prerequisite for this example, you must be logged in to Agile e6 as a role manager (EDB-ROLE-MNG) or as a user with manager privileges (EDB-ORG-MNG)! Only users assigned to these roles have the privilege to create and administrate the roles required for an organizational unit!
	Roles can either be created by the DataView manager (even before a top-level organizational unit is created) or by a manager assigned to a subordinate organizational unit within a company/department structure (role EDB-ORG-MNG must be assigned to this manager)!
	In the example the role EDB-DESIGNER is created.
	Select Manager > Permissions > Role Model > Roles. The Role mask is opened.
	To change to insert mode click .
	In the Role field enter DESIGNER.
	To save the entry click .
	Please note that a userexit in the Userexit field is initialized when activating a job function with the role assigned (by selecting a job function). The entry in the Userexit field doesn't have any effect in the standard role concept!
	Select the Privileges tab.
	To change to insert mode click .
	Click in the Privilege column. The Privileges list is opened.
	Select the privilege EDB-ART-INS.
	To save the entry click .
	The privilege to create a new item (EDB-ART-INS) is assigned to the role DESIGNER.
	Any of the available privileges can be assigned to the role DESIGNER.
