Function 'menu_sel_name'

This function is used to determine the name of the current menu selection.

This LogiView function is useful when a menu is active (e.g. in a menu trigger).

Syntax:

{STR_VAR}= menu_sel_name()

I/O parameters:

Return value:

{STR_VAR}

Name of the current menu selection.

The menu "MY_MEN" contains the selection "MY_SEL" with the selection text 'MY_TEXT'. In the menu allocation the selection has entered "MY_SEL", "lgv_nosel_run" or "lgv_post_fld" as userexit and the parameter "Logic Model/DT". The LogiView procedure DT could be like the following:

60 DOCU_STRING_1=menu_sel_name()

70 put(DOCU_STRING_1)

Result:

If "lgv_post_fld" was entered as userexit, the operating mode can be determined using the LGV function "mode()". (mode() is not available in lgv_nosel_run).
