How to Declare Variables and Constants

Open the Variables-List mask from the Manager > Macro > LogiView > Declarations > Variables menu.

The Variables-List mask is opened.

Change to Insert mode with the button .

Enter DOCU_INT_1 as variable name in the Name field.

In variable names the first character must be a letter and they must not contain a hyphen.

String variable with the format "CC-CC" (two characters - dash - two characters) are considered as a date.

Please note that only capital letters must be used for variable names. Otherwise, variable import to DataView forms will be impossible.

Click the Type field.

Click the button .
The selection menu is opened:

Select the I -> Integer data type.

Enter 0 in the Array Elements field.

To save the entry click the button .

Repeat steps 3 to 8 and enter the following values:

Enter DOCU_LOGIC_SYSTEM as variable name in the Name field.

Select L-> Logic Value as data type in the Type (Typ) field.

Enter 0 in the Number field.

Enter FALSE in the Default field.

To save the entry click the button .

Repeat steps 10 to 14 and enter the following values:

Name	Data Type	Array	Pre-initialization
DOCU_LOGIC_1	L	0	FALSE

The list should now look as follows:

Constants are declared similarly in the Constants-List (Menu: Manager > Macro > LogiView > Declarations > Constants).
