Function 'known'

Use this function to check if a value has already been assigned to the specified variable. If a value has been assigned, the function returns TRUE; otherwise a logical FALSE is returned.

Use this function to check if a variable has been initialized (the variable works like a flag).

Syntax:

{LOG_VAR}= known({VAR})

I/O parameters:

	{VAR}	Variable to be checked
	-

Return value:

{LOG_VAR}

TRUE	Variable has been initialized with a value.
FALSE	Variable not yet initialized.
