Function 'asc'

This function returns the ASCII-Code of the characters determined with POS in the specified string.

{INT_VAR}= asc({STR_EXPR},{EXPR})

	{STR_EXPR}	String.
	{EXPR}	Integer value specifying the character in the string which ASCII code is to be determined.
	-

{INT_VAR}

Integer value with the ASCII-Code of the specified character.

10 DOCU_INT_1=asc("ABC", 2)
20 put(DOCU_INT_1)

Result:

The ASCII Code of the leter "B" is returned (66).
