How to Fill the Classification List with Objects

What to do:

To work through this example, you must have completed the examples Create a Class, Fill the Attribute Pool, Assign Attributes to a Class and Create a Class Hierarchy / Structure. Items must be created before they can be added to the classification list.

Create the following items in the Item mask:
( Item management)

Item No.	Name
ITM-1000	Bolt1
ITM-2000	Bolt2
ITM-3000	Bolt3

Select Start > Classification > Classes.
The Class mask is opened.

Find the class CLS-1210 Hexagon screws.

Activate the Class List tab.
The classification list is opened.

Change to insert mode using .

In the Item Number field click .
The item list is opened in search mode.

Search for the ITM-1000 item and select it.

In the context menu click Take entry.

Fill in the attribute fields Length (L), Thread diameter (D), and Wrench size (SW) entering the following values:

SW	2
D	1
L	3

You may have to enlarge the window to see all attributes.

To save the entry click .
