Getting Started

Licenses

	The Available Packages mask shows all licenses available in Agile e6 and allows to enable or disable individual licenses.
	Select System > Packages.
	The Available Packages mask is opened.
	To enable a package, activate the check box in front of the respective package.
	Save the entry with the Save Settings button and select Close window.
	Dependent on the enabled package, it is possible to assign and/or activate/deactivate different features to an individual user.
	Select Manager > Permissions > User > Additional Attributes.
	The EDB user attributes mask is opened.
	Select user Bob.
	Select Feature Assignment from the context menu.
	The Available Features for User BOB mask is opened.
	To enable a feature, activate the check box in front of the respective license.
	It is also possible to assign features to different roles.
	For further information please refer to the configuration parameter EDB-LIC-ALG.
	Select Manager > Permissions > Role model > Roles.
	The Role mask is opened.
	Select the role Project Mng and activate the Features tab.
	Click the Insert button and select the feature E6-BAS-ORG (Organizations) from the Features list.
	To save the entry click .
	The selected feature is assigned to the role Project Mng.
