Enterprise Communication Interface (ECI)
Userexits
Userexits are C-functions, to manipulate data in widgets. You can assign userexits
to keys, menus, widgets, or fields. The whole functionality of
Agile e6 is located in userexits. If you open a widget via ECI and manipulate
a record then the same userexits as in standalone Agile
e6 are called. The most important userexits are:
- Pre-Mask-Userexit:
Is called before a widget is opened.
- Post-Mask-Userexit:
Is called before a widget is deleted.
- Edit-Action-Userexit:
Is called before the record is set to update mode.
- Pre-Action-Userexit:
Is called before the database transaction.
- Post-Action-Userexit:
Is called after the database transaction.
