Configure a Target Vault

If the file replication is active, the selection of the appropriate vault is controlled by the system.

All local vaults available at individual distributed sites are created and managed in the Configuration of the target vault list. When creating this list, vaults are selected from the FMS vault mask.

In the Configuration of the target vault list you can either select

"A" (for "current")
"D" (for "default").

Only one vault can be specified as the default vault for a site. This vault will be used, if no other vault conditions are true.

The standard algorithm is based on a configuration table (T_DFM_TAR_ARE). You can adapt the standard algorithm if necessary (see Advanced configuration)

To open the list, select Manager > Tools > Replication > File Replication (DFM) > Target vaults.

Enter the appropriate data.

For default vault type, enter the values for the following column:

Site (select the site that is specified in site list)
Vault (select a existing vault from vault list)
Actual =y(yes)
Default= n(no)

Site	Select the distributed site that is specified in the FMS vault list.
Vault	Select the distributed vault specified in the FMS vault list.
A	Target vault for the replication process; multiple target vaults may be specified
D	Default vault to be used as the default setting. Only one area should be specified as the default vault. For this area the A check box must be activated too.
Document Type	Use the Document type entry specified in the Document mask. (T_DOC_DAT.DOC_TYPE)
CAD Type	This field contains the CAD type if this type differs from the standard configuration. The field may remain empty if the CAD type name is identical to the standard configuration. Check which CAD types are used by the CAD interface (T_DOC_DAT.CAX_TYPE).
Format	File format of the file. The value of this field must be identical to the "File usage" entry defined in Manager > Tools > Replication > General Replication (DDM) > File usage" and also to the metadata of the file (T_FILE_DAT.FILE_FORMAT)
Creation system	Application that has been used to create this file. The value of this field must be identical to the "File usage" entry specified in Manager > Tools > Replication > General Replication (DDM) > File usage" and also to the metadata of the file (T_FILE_DAT.STEP_CRE_SYSTEM)
Comment	Add your comments in this field.

Each site may only got one single default vault!
The check box A of this vault must be activated!

If there is no result of the search condition for site, A-Flag, document type, CAD-Type, format and creation system, the default-vault is transferred which was found with the search condition for site, A-Flag and Default-Flag.
