How to Create a Position Variant

	What to do:
	Items can only be added at the very last structure level of the modular BOM!
	To work through this example, you must have released the relation between the top level product component and the product family.
	Select Start > Bill of Materials> Product Component - Modular The Product Component - Modular mask is opened.
	Search for Pen.
	Select the Structure tab.
	Click on the position number of the entry Lower Body Complete. The Module mask is opened.
	Select the Structure tab.
	Click on the position number of the entry Lower Body Ornamental Ring. The Module mask is opened.
	Select the Variants tab.
	To change to insert mode click .
	Click in the Item Number field. The Solution Item list is opened.
	Select ART-1200 from the Solution Item list.
	Click in the Product Variant field. A select menu is opened which contains all released product families.
	Select BP Junior.
	Enter 1 in the Variant column and to save the entry click .
