Item Management

Item Management Lookup Values

The Item Management Lookup Values mask allows to define new entries or modify entries in the Categories, Position Types, Surface Finish and Hazardous Material Codes tab. The entries in the Relation Types tab are set automatically whereas the entries in the other tabs are selectable in the Item mask.

Select System > Item Management

Categories: Can be assigned to an item in the General tab of the Item mask.

Position Type: Can be selected for each BOM position in the BOM tab.

Surface Finish: Can be assigned to an item (usually neutral item).

Hazardous Material Codes: Can be assigned to an item in the General tab of the Item mask (e.g. radioactive, corrosive, etc.).

Relation Types: The Relation Types tab contains the following entries:

These entries are set automatically when entering data to the following tabs of the Item mask:

- External item
- Internal item
- Geom. Higher Components
- Geom. Lower Components
- Manufactured items
- Raw Materials
- Replaced by
- Derived Items
- Derived from

The ID of the relation types listed in the Relation Types tab of the Item Management Lookup Values are used in the Mask Default tab of the T_MASTER_AIR.STEP_REL_TYPE Field Data mask.
