Multi-Tab (Sub-Mask) Editing |
|
In SDI mode it is possible to edit fields in several tabs at the same time. One record does not need to be stored before editing the record of a different tab. While editing the tabs it is possible to switch between them. | |
![]() |
It is only possible to edit multible tabs that are classified as MAINFORM. When the mask is set to edit mode, only the | and tab can be edited at the same time. All other tabs have to be opened first and then set to edit mode.
Description Field |
|
When entering more text into the Description field as the field is able to display, a vertical scrollbar is shown. The scrollbar is also shown when the mask is not in edit mode. Automatic line-wrap is activated, but can also be forced by pressing CTRL+ENTER on your keyboard. To insert a tab in the text, press CTRL+t on your keyboard. The edit operation can be ended with the ENTER key. The Tab key allows to move the cursor to the next text field of the mask. |

The Description field can also be opened in a separate window by first clicking into the field and then pressing F8 on your keyboard. Here, pressing the Tab key on the keyboard causes a tab jump of the cursor and pressing the Enter key on the keyboard causes a return. The window can be closed with the OK and Cancel buttons at the bottom of the window. |
