As a prerequisite for the following example you must have defined a process and designed a workflow in the Workflow Editor. |
In the example the workflow process is 861 - Purchase Requisition. | |

Search for the process 861 - Purchase Requisition. |

In the ![]() The process status is changed from Definition to Execution. Accordingly, the Purchase Requisition process is now displayed in the Process in Execution mask. The user name of the user initiating the process is added to the field. The activities are now removed from the tab list since the process is no longer in the definition phase but instead is now in execution. |

When storing a process in the workflow editor it is syntactically checked. To start a process it must be syntactically correct! |

It is not possible to start subprocesses as independent processes! |

If an activity has an invalid role assigned, the process is suspended and an email notification is send to the user responsible for the process! |
