How to Open the Inbox

What to do:

As a prerequisite for the following example you must have created and started a workflow process.
In this example the workflow process is Purchase Requisition.
1.

Select Start > Inbox.
The Inbox is opened displaying the activity/work item Create of the workflow process Purchase Requisition.

New entries are marked as "new" in the first column.
The urgency "due" or "over-due" is shown in the Urgency field.

The columns Accepted, Start By, and Finish By show the corresponding dates.

If a work item is e.g. forwarded or rejected, the columns Phase, User, and Reason are filled with the following information:

Column Displayed Information
Phase Informs if the work item has been forwarded or rejected.
User Informs about who initiated the change (not visible on screenshot).
Reason Informs about the reason why the change has been initiated (not visible on screenshot).
If a Work Item in the Inbox is marked with info in the Urgency field it is for information only and cannot be accepted or executed. If the information is not needed any longer the info work item can be deleted:
Click the Work Item and select Delete from the context menu.
