The Receipt Package

Information on imported files is stored in a log file and a label file. Together, those two files form the receipt package. The name of the receipt package is comprised of the target site abbreviation (site code) and an automatically generated ID number, e.g.: dre0024.tar.

In case of a successful import process, the receipt package is stored in the eer/import/secure_ok directory. If the import process has not been successful, the receipt package is stored in the eer/import/secure_error directory.

At the originating site, the receipt package must be stored in the eer/receipt directory so that the files can be detected by the evaluation process.

The Log File

The log file contains the following entries:

  • the names of all tables stored in imported records;
  • the internal CID number of the sender and a unique version number;
  • the internal CID number of the recipient and a unique version number;
  • the import status code:
    • U: update status
    • IS: insert status
  • an ID number detailing the import status:
    • I: OK - all files have been exported successfully
    • <error number>: The export process has not been successful.

The Label File

The label file contains information about the target site of replicated data.
