DtvLong dal_cch_skp_fld ()

When editing, this function will prevent any attempt to enter the field with the write-cursor by automatically skipping the field. The write-cursor will then be placed in the next field.

Can be called as Pre_Field userexit at any field within a mask.

The userexit dal_cch_skp_fld is the only userexit, which - installed at the Pre_Field trigger - is not only executed in Insert- and Update mode, but also in Query- and View mode.

Using this userexit the programmer can easily lock individual fields without having to modify field access attributes.

Fields positioned outside of forms (negative column position) are automatically skipped. It is not required to use dal_cch_skp_fld.

Attention! It is impossible to call the Userexit dal_cch_skp_fld as subroutine from an other userexit.
