Alias IdentificationAn Alias Identification is a mechanism to associate an object with an additional identifier that is used to identify the object in a different context. For the Cooperation Partner the Alias ID consists of the Organization (Cooperation partner), the Alias number (which is usually the item number used by the customer) and the revision of the item as used by the customer. Reference Cooperation partner to ObjectA Cooperation Partner is assigned to an object via the Alias IDs tab in the object mask. The organization and alias number entered in the corresponding fields will be displayed in the object mask when the mask is updated.
For the Item Management you have the optional attributes Finish and Color Code. The Alias information for an object is also displayed in other related masks (e.g. Item -> BOM list). It is possible to Assign multiple Alias Ids and define default cooperation partners to be displayed in the main object mask (Filter Cooperation Partner).
It is also possible to assign several Cooperation Partners to one object. All Cooperation Partners are assigned and displayed to an object in the Alias ID list (Tab: Alias ID). In this list, you can also define a default partner which is then displayed in the mask header. The default partner is selected via context menu. |
