AutoVue Integration

Offline Metafile Caching

To work through this example, you must first create a document in the document mask (Start > Documents > ...) and attach a file.
Select Start > Documents > All Documents.
The Documents mask (document master) is opened.
Search for the document I-Learn SE.

Select Cache on View Server from the context menu.

The Cache on View Server command is also available via the Files tab of the Document mask! Highlight an entry and select this function from the context menu! On the Files tab you can also add further files to the document!
With the Cache on View Server command the document I-Learn SE is cached on the View Server. To this the server creates a batch order that is processed and whereby a file is created. At this point no further action is necessary.
Once the batch order is executed, a metafile will be created and displayed in the Files tab of the Document mask.

It is also possible to create batch orders and batch order positions via LogiView by creating records in the batch order and batch order position masks using the following userexits:

  • xpvm_bat_doc creates a new batch order and adds all assigned files which are viewable with AutoVue as batch order position
  • xpvm_bat_fil creates a new batch order and adds the specified file as batch order position

Both userexits are select-menu userexits. xpvm_bat_doc can be used on document masks and xpvm_bat_fil on document - file relation masks!
