iwf_brw_ent

Fills the current browser window with data.

Parameters:

[entity [list]] -or-
T>entity [typ [list]]]
R>parent entity[child entity view [list]]
A>parent entity[child entity view[list]] -or-
[@ACT [list]] -or-
[@SEL [list]]

Entity or T>..., R>..., A>...
The model object (entity, type, refine-relation, aggregate-relation) determines the origin of the structure display. After calling the function all records from the coresponding table are displayed as elements of the first level in the browser window.

@ACT or @SEL
After calling the function, with @ACT all loaded records in the active mask will be displayed as elements of the first level in the browser window (in lists this happens irrespective of whether records are selected).

If, alternatively, @SEL is specified, all selected records in the active mask will be displayed as elements of the first level in the browser window. In forms this is the record displayed.

Note! For DTV version 4.1 and higher the behavior at @SEL in lists is the same like at @ACT.

list
Name of the first browser list. After calling the function this will be virtually opened and it determines the behaviour of the browser for elements of the first level.

If no list is passed, DataView will use the default list of the passed model object as browser list.

Modfier:

You can use the following additional modifiers. They control layout and behavior of the browser.

/name
Sets the title of the tab. The entity name in the standard parameter string is the default value.

/bitmap = Dateiname.bmp
Sets an icon left of the title.

/close = NO
Deactivates the Close button.

/NTR
No Top level Refresh. Prevents the browser from requesting the road object again after a refresh. Only the data are refreshed, but not the structure. This feature is important in order to keep temporary structures unchanged.

/cleanup Userexitname
Sets a Post_Browser userexit. Just like a Post_Mask userexit, this userexit is called after initializing the browser and immediately before the client gets control back.

/OPENALL
Opens the total structure immediately after calling the browser*.

Attention! *Do not set the option /OPENALL for recursive structures.

Usage as:

On_Select userexit in any menu/button-area or On_Event userexit in any state of the user interface.
