How to Create an Ad-Hoc Process

 

What to do:

When creating an ad-hoc process, the creation of a process template is skipped. Instead, the process is created directly via the Process in Definition mask!
The ad-hoc process is used only for a single use case, not for repeated use cases.

Select Start > Workflow > Processes in Definition.
The Process in Definition mask is displayed.

To change to Edit mode click .

In the Process field enter Purchase Requisition.
An ID is automatically assigned by the system.

Confirm the default priority setting (B) or click A for high, respectively C for low priority.

 

Entries to the following fields are optional:

Field name Description
Description Additional information describing the process.
Process is executed for Companies/Departments and Projects a process is assigned to
(Assign a Process to an Object or a Company and Department)
Triggering of userexit Execute Userexits Automatically when a Process is Initialized/Completed

To save the entry click .

You can now open the Workflow Editor and model the process!
