How to Add a file to a document

To work through this example, you first must have completed the example Viewing a 2D File or 3D Assembly Structure from a Document.
Select Start > Documents > 3D Models.
  The 3D Model mask is opened.
Load the document I-Learn-SE to the 3D Models mask.
Change to the Files tab.
Click the Insert button.
  A sequence number will be automatically inserted into the Sequence column.
Click the button to open the mask for the file requester ().
  The FMS-File Requester mask is opened.
Select the file you want to add.
  In our example we select the Word document DOC007265.
Click the Open button.
  The word document DOC007265 is added to the Files tab.
 
Please note that you can add any file format to the Files tab as long as the file format is defined in the external application settings!
  Any file that is listed on the Files tab can be loaded into the Viewer by highlighting the file and clicking the Markup button ().
Please note that the selection of multiple files to be loaded into the Viewer is not possible from the Files tab!
  But, you can click the Markup button on the upper right corner of the 3D Models mask in order to load a file to the Viewer. In this case a Related Files list will appear that allows you to select the file you want to load to the Viewer.
