As a prerequisite for this example, you must be logged in to Agile e6 as a role manager (EDB-ROLE-MNG) or as a user with manager privileges (EDB-ORG-MNG)! Only users assigned to these roles have the privilege to create and administrate the roles required for an organizational unit! |

Roles can either be created by the DataView manager (even before a top-level organizational unit is created) or by a manager assigned to a subordinate organizational unit within a company/department structure (role EDB-ORG-MNG must be assigned to this manager)! |
In the example the role EDB-DESIGNER is created. | |
