The menu buffer is a user-configurable memory of the menu and and is used to support programming. support programming. The field buffer can be used to pass for status- or other object-specific information, which are required as long as the menu exists.
This function creates a copy of the passed string in the menu buffer. The buffer can have any size and is empty after the button area has been created.
The function automatically invoke any set Menu listener function.
