Multi-Organization Access Rights

Create a top-level Manager

As a prerequisite for this example, you must be logged in to Agile e6 as the DataView manager!
Select Manager > Permissions > User > Basic Data.
The User Data list is opened.
In the User Name field enter HRMANAGER.
In the UIC field enter 11111.

Don't activate the Manager checkbox as this will create a user with DataView manager rights. Since for the DataView manager PDW is not active, such a manager would not be able to create any subordinate organizational structures or staff members!
To save the entry click .
Highlight HRMANAGER and select Group Assignments from the context menu.
The User-Group table is opened.
To change to insert mode click .
In the Group Name column click and select DEMOEP from the Group Data list.
This is the group to which HRMANAGER shall be assigned to.
To save the entry click .

Set a login password for the HRMANAGER (Manager > Permissions > User > Basic Data) by selecting Set Password from the context menu.
Use the same procedure as described above to create ordinary users for an organizational unit (users without manager privileges)!
Please note that having completed this example you have only completed the first step in creating a top-level manager. The next step is to assign the HRMANAGER to the top-level organizational unit via a job function. In this second step the HRMANAGER must be assigned the role EDB-ORG-MNG (via the Job Function mask) as this contains all the privileges deemed necessary for a top-level manager! If the privileges are not set by default, they can be easily adapted by the DataView manager!
