Type Conversion |

The following functions are available to convert variable/constant values into another type: |
asc | {INT_VAR}= asc({STR_EXPR},{EXPR}) This function returns the ASCII-Code of the characters determined with POS in the specified string. |
chr | {STR_VAR}= chr({INT_VAR}) This functions returns the character to a specified ASCII code. |
make_str | {STR_VAR}= make_str({NUM_EXPR}) This function returns a string containing the converted numeric expression. |
scan | {INT_VAR}= scan({STR_EXPR},{STR_EXPR},{VAR_LIST}) This function splits a forwarded string into individual substrings which are assigned to the corresponding variables according to the type by means of conversion. The result is the number of sucessfully assigned variables. |
strprint | {STR_VAR}= strprint({STR_EXPR},{EXPR_LIST}) This function returns a string created by converting and formatting of the forwarding arguments under the control of a format character string. |
trunc | {INT_VAR}= trunc({NUM_EXPR}) This function returns the integer portion of a numeric expression. |
