Login Dialog - Activating Advanced Login |

The Agile e6 login dialog has to be modified in order to show the Advanced Login section.

In Agile e6, open the Preferences mask.

Description |
Login type: Basic |
This is the default selection and allows logging in to Agile e6 with the Agile e6 user and password. |
Login type: LDAP |
This selection allows logging in to Agile e6 with a LDAP user and LDAP password.
In this case, the same password, that is used for LDAP, can be used to log in to Agile e6. |
Login type: Kerberos |
With this selection, after logging in to Windows, Agile e6 can be started without having to log in again.
In this case, the Windows password is being used to log in to Agile e6. |
Show advanced login settings |
For the single sign-on functionality, this option has to be selected, to display the Advanced Login section in the login dialog. |
Force to show login dialog |
Only useful in connection with the Kerberos login type!
When the Kerberos login type is selected, as default, there is no extra login dialog when starting Agile e6. With this selection, the login dialog is forced to be displayed. |

- Login type
Allows administrators to log in with different accounts.
- Basic
The standard Agile e6 user/password authentication. This is the default selection.
- LDAP
The user uses his LDAP account credentials to log in.
- Kerberos
The user uses his Kerberos account credentials to log in.
- Login as PLM user
In case of LDAP or Kerberos, the field shows the LDAP or Kerberos user name, which would start Agile e6 with the default PLM User. In the field, a different Agile e6 user can be selected to start Agile e6.
