The web.xml file is located under C:\Agile_e6\epclt\webplm\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF.
The web.xml file is a central file for configuration to modify the web client
an dthe EWDT.
The WEBAPPS folder contains the file Root.war that
has to be expanded into the ROOT folder first.
The Root.war file will be automatically expanded into the
...\webplm\webapps\ROOT directory.

The tag library (web-ewdt.jar) is installed in the directory C:\Agile_e6\epclt\webplm\shared\lib.
Each Web Development Toolkit tag represents a Java class which implements the logic for that tag to be processed. These Java classes are packed to an archive (jar file) that has to be installed on the web server. The so-called tag library. Each tag is defined in a "Tag library descriptor file" (ewdttags.tld, which is an XML file) and is also intalled on the web server. In this file each tag is assigned to the respective Java class.
1. taglib-uri | Defines the name which will be used in JSPs to define which taglib library will be used. |
2. taglib-location | Name and location of the taglib library descriptor file. This file defines the mapping of the Web Development Toolkit tags and the corresponding Java classes which implement the logic. |
