Multi-Project Access Rights

How to Select Projects to display

What to do:

To work through this example you must have assigned USER-3 to Project-4 via a job function (e.g. Job-8) and you must be logged in to Agile e6 as USER-3 with Job-3 which grants access to Project-3 (the current project).
Select View > Filter > Projects to display.
The Projects to display list is opened.

The current project (Project-3) is always displayed in this list and cannot be modified!
Only those projects are displayed in this list USER-4 is assigned to via a job function!

Since in this example only Project-3 is activated for display, the access to project data for USER-3 is limited to Project-3.

Please note that the top-level project is always displayed in the Project list!
Select the checkbox in the Display column for Project-4.
To save the entry click .

Both the current project Project-3 and Project-4 are activated for display. USER-3 is thus granted access to Project-3 and Project-4 (including the subprojects Project-4a and Project-4b).

Since USER-3 is still logged in to Project-3 (with Job-3), only objects assigned to this project can be modified. Objects that are assigned to Project-4 and the subprojects are only displayed!
