Suppress Inheritance in a Project Structure

As a prerequisite for this example, you must have created a project structure as depicted in the Introduction. Futhermore, you must have assigned USER-4 to Project-4a via a job function and must be logged in to Project-4 as USER-4 (Project Manager)!
Please note that for this example it is required to assign USER-4 to Project-4a via a job function. If USER-4 was not assigned to Project-4a and would perform the "Supress Inheritance" function, Project-4a wouldn't be visible for any user! In this case only the DataView manager would be able to cancel the "Suppress Inheritance" setting!
Open the Project mask of Project-4.
Select the Structure tab.
The subprojects of Project-4 are displayed.

Highlight Project-4a and click to change to edit mode.
Click in the Inherit View column.
Select n to deactivate the inherit view.
In the PNo field enter 10.
To save the entry click .

The view on Project-4a is deactivated. Only Project-4b is visible.
