Header |
Name
|
Unique logical name of the output device. This name must be identical
to the name of the plotter in the plot server system.
|
Full name
|
Additional name of the output device, provides additional information. |
General |
Location
|
Location of the output device, provides additional information. |
Description
|
Provides additional information on the plotter device. |
Reply
|
Defines
if the connected plot management system returns *.sta
plotter status files for the corresponding plot device. These files
are used to document the plot job.
|
Color
|
Defines whether or not the output device supports color output.
|
Set processing
|
Defines whether or not the output device supports set processing.
The plot management system must also support Set
Processing.
|
Access |
Release or deactivate plotters. |
Media |
Paper
|
Defines the media type (e.g. paper, transparency
film, etc.). The plot management system must be configured accordingly
if more than one media type has been defined.
|
Sizes |
Size
|
Lists all available paper sizes.
Default values are:
|
Folding |
Folding
|
Name of the folding mode for plot management
systems that support folding with an output device with folding
function. The name of the folding type is passed on to the plot
management system as part of the plot process. It must be identical
to the name of the plot server system's folding program. Enter
to disable the folding function.

Scale mode |
Scale mode
|
Defines the scale mode. The following scale modes
are available:
- (The drawing is either
plotted at a scale of 1:1 or with automatic format scaling).
- (The document is scaled
to one of several available formats (e.g A4
or letter).
- (The scaling size
can be defined by the user prior to submission of the plot job.)
The and columns control the access of the
and fields:
- : read-only field: no entries
- : mandatory field: A parameter
value must be specified
The scaling type requires
that is specified in both of these
columns, since all plot output is scaled automatically.

Setup |
Setup
|
Specifies the configuration parameter set for the plot server system.
The selection menu contains a list of available plotter configurations.
The list of available parameter values for this field depends on the
selected plot server system installation. In case of a CIMGRAPH plot
management system enter as the
parameter value.
Some CAD software interfaces may require the definition of custom
plotter configurations.
For all other plot management systems please refer to the corresponding
documentation.
