The significant fields of a mask are always the first fields in the field stack of the mask. The number of significant fields may not exceed the total number of fields in the field stack.
The significant fields of a list always remain visible when scrolling the list in the widget (NoScroll area). All nonsignificant fields move »below« the significant fields. If you use this function to change the number of significant fields, you do not automatically change the NoScroll area.
In refine- or aggregate lists of a relation DataView writes the significant fields of the calling records of the master list into the lower bar of the widget frame.
For temporarily deleted records the significant fields appear in the trash-basket widget for identification.
The function automatically invoke any set mask listener function.
