How to Assign Objects to a Manually Created Folder

What to do:

To work through this example first complete the example Create a Folder.
  In the example the folder has the Folder-ID 9.
OK Open the folder Folder / 9.
Select the Documents tab.
To change to insert mode click .
Click in the Document Number field.
The Document List list is opened.
Select the document AD-102595 - Assembly Drawing.
To save the entry click .

The document AD-102595 - Assembly Drawing is assigned to Folder / 9.

  It is also possible to select References > Documents from the context menu of the Folder / 9 mask to display the documents related to Folder / 9. Several different object types can be selected from the context menu.
  To assign an object to a folder via the corresponding object mask follow the steps described below.
OK Select References > Insert in folder from the context menu.
The system will display the following question.
 
OK Click the Yes button.
The Folders list is opened.
OK Select Folder / 9 from the Folder list .
The document AD-102595 is automatically assigned to Folder / 9.
To check the assignment select References > Folder (usage) from the context menu of the object mask.
The folder you open by confirming with "Yes" will remain open and all objects will now be added to this folder!
To assign an object to a different folder, open the corresponding folder mask (Manager > Workflow > Folder). Click the Refresh button, choose a folder, and select Open Current form the context menu.
It is not possible to assign a folder type to manually created folders!
