The Change Management module provides a variety of different change operations that are all performed on the main widget. Due to the different change operations the main widget differs in design and functionality.
Design |
|
The main widget has four separate parts:

Please note that the design of the main widget as well as the availability of buttons and sub-widgets may differ according to the single change operations! |
Buttons of the Main Widget / Monster Mask |
|
Buttons at the QUERY-widget
Initially the QUERY-widget has only two buttons (Select All, Clear All) at the left side. The buttons are active as long as the MAIN-widget has the focus. In case a record is selected inside the QUERY-widget the initially activated buttons are greyed out and two additional buttons for single select and deselect appear. After pressing one of them, the single select button disappears again.
Buttons at the NEW-widget
Below the NEW-widget an OK- and Cancel button are initially greyed out. To activate these buttons the NEW-widget has to be active.
Change Operations |
|
Withdraw | |
The withdraw operation does not need the new widget.

|
Correct | |
The correct operation does not need a head as it generates its own work set for any operation. The filter is not usable for the "Correct" operation.

|
Replace 1:1 | |
Since the position numbers of the selected locations are different, only three dots (***) are shown in the new widget. The position numbers cannot be changed since they are an identifying attribute. For in this example the quantity of the selected records is identical, the quantity can be changed here. Otherwise the quantity is read-only.
![]() |
|
Replace 1:n | |
The position number and quantity should not be changed in the filter, since otherwise it is not clear which position number and quantity is set for the new BOM position. The position number and the quantity can be edited here in the new widget, since otherwise it was not possible to set it for all new BOM positions.
![]() |
|
Replace n:1 | |
The position number and quantity can not be entered in the filter. Each old BOM position can have a different position number and quantity. So these attributes are hidden. The "Filter" button and the "Select " buttons are disabled in order to avoid changes in the filter criteria. The position number and the quantity can be edited here in the new widget, since otherwise it was not possible to set it for all new BOM positions.
![]() |
|
Modify | |
The position number cannot be changed since it is an identifying attribute. In case the position numbers of the selected locations are different, only three dots (***) are shown in the new widget. In a Modify operation, the item number cannot be changed (only relation attributes can be changed). Because the quantity of the selected locations is identical in this example, the quantity can be changed here (otherwise it is read-only).
