Note:

(1) Native EDM Server components comprises of EDM Server, File Management Service (FMS), Batch Client, Java Daemon, and FMS Daemon.


Note:

(2) J2EE components comprises of Business Service, Web Presentation Service, Web Fileservice, PLM-API Proxy, Admin Client, WebStart Java Client, AutoVue JVue and VueLink, and Web Services.


Note:

Native EDM server components will run in a 32-bit run time system while running on a 64-bit Operating System.

J2EE Components run on top of generic WebLogic Server 12.1.3.

On HP-UX and AIX 7.1, the J2EE Components (running on top of WebLogic Server) use OS specific Java Runtime 64-bit.

WEB Fileservice (DFM sites), Enterprise Integration Platform (EIP) and the AutoVue Integration (View Server) at DFM Site use TOMCAT.

For more information on the J2EE Components, please refer to the Architecture Guide for Agile e6.2.0.0.

Availability of the Enterprise Integration Platform and its Connectors (e.g. SAP-Link) depends on supported platforms of integrated applications (e.g. SAP R/3).
