Management Console Overhead

The extra cost of running the Management Console against a JRockit JVM is small and can almost be disregarded. It provides low-cost monitoring and profiling of your application.

Note:

You should not run the Management Console on the same computer as the JRockit JVM you are computer. If you run the Management Console on the same computer, the Management Console GUI will steal valuable resources from the applications running on the JVM, and you risk system performance degradation.
