Adding a Connector

You can add your favorite JVM connectors to the Connectors folder so that you always have them available.

To add a connector:

  1. Right-click in the JVM Browser.

  2. Select New Connection.

    The JVM Connection window appears.

  3. Select the JDK version of the JVM connection to which you want to connect.

If you select the Custom JMX services URL option, you must know the exact syntax for the JMX service URL.

  4. Enter a name for a Host, Port, and Connection.

  5. If you want to test the connection and verify that you have entered the correct values, click Test Connection.

  6. Click Finish.

The new connection is added to the Connectors folder.
