Advanced and Internal Commands

Certain commands run from the Diagnostic Commands list might execute slowly or impede JVM performance. These are considered advanced or internal diagnostic commands and are indicated by special icons on the list, as shown in Figure: Advanced (Triangle) and Internal (Circle) Diagnostic Command Icons, and a warning under the command description:

• Advanced commands are indicated by an exclamation point (!) within a triangle.

• Internal diagnostic commands are indicated by an X within a circle.
