Running the Command

The commands that you can run are listed in the Diagnostic Commands list. These commands are described in "Available Commands".

To run a diagnostic command:

  1. Select the command you want to run from the list of available commands. For a description of these commands, see "Available Commands".

    The command name will appear in the Command panel, along with a description of the command and, if necessay, edit fields where you can enter any required or optional arguments or variables. Figure: Command Panel with memprof Command Selected shows how the Command panel looks when you select the memprof command (note the warning that memprof is an internal diagnostic command under the Execute button; see "Advanced and Internal Commands").

  2. Click Execute.

    The command runs and any output from the command appears in the Diagnostic Command Output panel.
