Stopping a Recording

Stopping a recording stops all data gathering for a particular recording running on a JRockit instance. When you stop a recording, its state on the control view will change to STOPPED and you can then dump or close the recording data to a file.

To stop a recording:

1. In the control view, right-click the recording you want to stop.

   The context menu opens.

2. Select Stop.

   The recording state changes to STOPPED.
