Disconnecting a Recording

When you disconnect a recording, it will no longer receive data from the JVM and the connection name will disappear from the Flight Recorder control view. Disconnecting from a recording will not change any aspect of the underlying recording activity and you can reconnect the recording at any time by using the process described in "Starting a Flight Recording".

To disconnect a recording:

1. On the Flight Recorder control view. right-click the connection if you want to disconnect to open a context menu.

2. Select Disconnect Recording.

   The recording disappears from the control view.
