Navigator - Path: Providers: <provider_group>

Use this page to manage providers within a selected provider group.

A provider is an interface to Oracle9iAS portal that represents and manages the portlets it owns. The icon indicates a provider in the Navigator.
A provider group is a mechanism for organizing portlet providers in the Navigator. The icon indicates a provider group in the Navigator.

Field Descriptions

Field	Description
Path	Displays your current location in the Navigator: When Path: Providers displays, the Navigator displays a list of providers and provider groups. When Path: Providers: provider_group displays, the Navigator displays a list of providers in a selected provider_group. When Path: Providers: provider_name displays, the Navigator displays a list of portlets owned by a selected provider. Click hyperlinks in the Path to drill up and down to different levels of the Navigator.
Type	Always displays , indicating all entries on this page are providers.
Name	Displays all providers in this group. Click an entry in the Name column to display a list of portlets owned by a provider. Entries in the Name column are sorted alphabetically. To reverse sort the entries in reverse order, click Name.
Actions	Open--Click to display a list of portlets owned by a provider. Click to edit the provider's properties. Edit--Click to edit the provider's properties. Remove--Click to remove the provider from the group If you remove a provider from a group, it is NOT deleted. You can still access the provider in the Navigator (Path: Providers).
