Create/Edit Provider Group

Use this page to create a new provider group or edit an existing one. A provider group enables you to organize portlet providers in the mid-tier navigator. You can also register a group of providers with Oracle9iAS Portal, rather than having to register each provider in the group individually.

After you create the provider group, you can add providers to it by clicking Open next to the group in the Navigator, then clicking Add Provider.

Field Description
Provider Group Name Enter a unique name for the provider group. The name will be used internally by Oracle9iAS Portal when you register the group.
Provider Group Display Name Enter a display name for the provider group. The display name identifies the provider group in the Navigator. It will also identify the provider group to Portal Administrators who register the provider group in Oracle9iAS Portal.
