Use this tab to select an appropriate data type for the measure.
Data Type
Choose a data type that matches the data type of the data source for the measure.
A measure that is in a compressed cube inherits the data type of the cube; thus, you cannot choose the data type for individual measures in a compressed cube.
Depending on your selection of a data type, you may set the following additional parameters:
Precision: The maximum number of significant decimal digits.
Scale: The number of digits from the decimal point to the least significant digit.
Size: The maximum length in bytes for text data types.
