Data Security Policy Property Sheet: Member Selection tab

The Member Selection tab enables you to restrict access privileges to a selection of the data. The initial selection is the topmost level of the default hierarchy.

You can select members either individually from a list of available members or by applying one or more conditions. In the Available panel, the Members subtab enables you to select from a list of members, and the Conditions subtab enables you to apply conditions.

Your choice of dimension members is recorded in the Selected panel. The Members subtab lists the selected dimension members, and the Steps subtab lists the criteria by which these members were selected. You can view, modify, reorder or remove individual dimension members or steps to further refine your query.
