Set Analytic Workspace Object Security dialog box

Use this dialog box to grant or revoke privileges on an analytic workspace.

Schema

The owner of the analytic workspace.

Analytic Workspace Name

The analytic workspace whose security is being set. Select an analytic workspace from the drop-down list.

User or Role

The user or role whose privileges on the analytic workspace will be changed. Select one from the drop-down list.

With Grant Option

Enables the user or role to grant the selected privileges to another user or role.

Available Privileges

The list of available privileges. Use the shuttle keys to move privileges from the Available list to the Selected list.

• SELECT: Query all objects in the analytic workspace
• INSERT: Create new dimension members
• UPDATE: Change the data values of dimensions and cubes
• DELETE: Delete dimension members
• ALTER: Change the definitions of cubes and dimensions in the analytic workspace

Selected Privileges

The privileges that will be granted to the user or role. Use the shuttle keys to remove any privileges that you want to revoke.

SQL Commands

Displays the SQL commands that are generated by your choices.
