Usage Scenarios

The following scenarios show the use of the Spatial Index Advisor to analyze a:

Layer for which you have a reference map
Single layer that fills only a small portion of the extent
Single layer that fills a large portion of the extent
Group of layers
Group of layers that contain different levels of detail

Each scenario is hypothetical, and it assumes that certain necessary operations have already been performed, such as creating a table for spatial data, loading spatial data into the table, updating the USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA view, and creating the Spatial index.
