Add Layer

(Invoked by Layer > Add Layer)

Select the layer to add: Use the tree control with three levels (database, schema, layer) to select a layer to add to the drawing area. The layer name is in the form table-name(SDO_GEOMETRY-column).

Alias: A text string to be associated with the layer name. If you later edit the layer, you select its alias. If you enter an alias that is already in use, a number is added to the string.

Color: Color to be used in the drawing area for the added layer.
