A dimension view contains a row for each dimension member regardless of hierarchy. Analytic Workspace Manager creates one dimension view for each dimension.
Dimension Name
Identifies the base dimension for the view.
View Name
A simple name for the view. Dimension views initially have a name of dimension_VIEW, which you can change in this text box.
The table describes the dimension view:
Column Name: List the columns of the view. Dimension views have a column for the dimension key, each level regardless of hierarchy, and each attribute.
Data Type: Identifies the data type of the column, such as VARCHAR2.
Object Type: Identifies each column as a key, a level name, or an attribute.
