A data security policy identifies the access rights of a user or a group. You can apply this policy to the dimensions.
Data Security Policy Name
A descriptive name for this policy.
The table contains a row for each user or role added to the policy. The table has these columns:
User or Role: A user, role, or security role affected by this policy
Type: Identifies a user, a role, or a security role. You cannot alter the privileges of a security role here, because the privileges are part of the definition of a security role.
Select: Grants or revokes the privilege of querying the object
Insert: Grants or revokes the privilege of adding dimension members
Update: Grants or revokes the privilege of changing the values of dimensions and cubes
Delete: Grants or revokes the privilege of deleting dimension members
Add Users or Roles
Displays the Add Users or Roles dialog box.
Remove User or Role
Deletes the selected user or role from the table.
