The General tab describes the view of a cube. The view contains a row for each combination of dimension members in the cube. Analytic Workspace Manager creates one view for each cube.
Cube
Identifies the base cube for the view.
View Name
A simple name for the view. Cube views initially have a name of cube_VIEW, which you can change in this text box.
Column Name
List the columns of the view. Cube views have a column for each dimension key, each measure, and each calculated measure.
Data Type
Identifies the data type of the column, such as VARCHAR2 or NUMBER.
Object Type
Identifies each column as a dimension, a measure, or a calculated measure.
Dimension
Identifies the dimension names.
