Use the Sort Members dialog box to specify criteria for sorting steps or members.
Sort Members Hierarchically
Specifies to sort using the hierarchy. A Condition Sort Step of type "Hierarchy" is created and added to the sort specification, which contains all the sort steps. The components in the Sort Criteria box are disabled if this box is checked.
Sort Members By
Specifies that you want to make your own criteria for sorting the members, using the buttons on the right side of the dialog.
Sort Criteria
Lists the sort criteria that you have previously specified. The box is empty until you use the Add button to create a sort criteria.
Add. Displays the Edit Sort Criterion dialog box, in which you specify information for a particular sort criterion.
Remove. Deletes the selected sort criterion from the Sort Items By box.
Edit. Displays the Edit Sort Criterion dialog box, in which you can edit the information for the selected sort criterion. You can also use the hyperlinks within the sort criterion to edit it.
Move Up. Moves the selected sort criterion up one position in the Sort items by box.
Move Down. Moves the selected sort criterion down one position in the Sort Items By box.
Then Move
Specifies which members to move to which positions, after the sort criteria that are specified in the Sort Items By box are completed.
Add. Displays the Edit Move dialog box, in which you specify which member to move to which position.
Remove. Deletes the selected move criterion from the Then Move box.
Remove All. Deletes all the move criteria from the Then Move box.
Edit. Displays the Edit Move dialog box, in which you can edit the information for the selected move criterion. You can also use the hyperlinks within the move criterion to edit it.
