Use the Edit Sort Criterion dialog box to specify criteria for sorting members.
Sort By
Specifies whether to sort members:
Alphabetically by member name.
By measure values, such as Dollar Sales.
In chronological order (only for time dimensions)
In hierarchical order (only for dimensions that have hierarchies)
By attribute values (only for dimensions that have attributes)
For
Specifies the member to use for sorting.
Direction
Specifies whether to sort the members in ascending or descending order, from A to Z or from Z to A, or from earliest to latest or latest to earliest.
