Calculation Plans Property Sheet: General tab

A calculation plan enables you to develop various types of calculations and determine the order in which they are executed. The types of calculations are:

Each calculation that you define is a step in the calculation plan.

Name

A simple logical name.

You cannot change the name after creating the plan.

ID

The full logical name.

This information appears on the property sheet after the plan is created; it does not appear on the initial dialog box.

Short Label

A short descriptive name for display, usually in mixed case.

Long Label

A long descriptive name for display, usually in mixed case.

Description

Additional descriptive text, which can include mixed case and spaces.

Step

Identifies the order in which the steps are executed during a build. To change the order, select a step and click the up- or down-arrow.

Step Name

The names of the calculation steps that have been defined. To define a new calculation, click New Step.

Step Type

Aggregation, Allocation, or Forecast.

New Step

Displays the New Aggregation Step dialog box.

Edit Step

Displays the Edit Aggregation Step dialog for a step selected from the list.

Delete Step

Deletes a step selected from the list.
