Oracle FMW MapViewer 11.1.1.7.3 Release Notes

New and changed features since MapViewer 11.1.1.7.2 ===============

V2 (HTML5) API enhancements:

- Supports a powerful new approach to thematic mapping based on bindable style
  attributes
- Added a plugin API that allows developers to easily add support for any
  third party tile layers and services
- Supports greater customization of info-window using third party
  JavaScript/CSS widgets and dialogs
- Multiple features on the map can be selected by simple clicks (when
  multi-selection mode is enabled on the layer)
- Provided new APIs to disable/enable map zooming 
- Supports server side heat-map styles (created in MapBuilder)
- Added API to obtain flattened HTML5 canvas images with custom sizes 
- Supports third party (non-MapViewer) generated geoJSON layer files
- Third party geoJson files can also be labeled; label boxes are generated
  automatically when needed.
- Added JSONP support when loading geoJSON data from a remote server.
- Supports registering client side Spatial Reference Systems with user defined
  map projection functions. 
- Text style added a 'sticky' parameter to allow more aggressive polygon
  labeling.
- Many minor enhancements and bug fixes on the redline tool for simple
  geometry editing
- Added a new API method to customize on-map tooltip style
- Enhanced map zoom buttons' size and positioning on mobile touch devices
- Added two-way conversion between Geometry classes and GML / WKT formats
- Added a new set of standalone tutorials (packaged with the standalone V2
  distribution)
- Added colorbrewer color series in the OM.style.Style class for easy access
  by applications
- Added built-in USA Albers map projection that places Alaska and Hawaii
  closer to the lower 48 states
- Added various convenience methods to the OM.gv class (e.g. for setting
  logging levels).

Bug fixes since 11.1.1.7.2 ============================================

V2 (HTML5) API:

- removed various references to hard coded 'mvdemo' data source name
- fixed redline tool's on_finish event not firing bug when generating a single
  point geometry
- fixed marker positioning issue when displaying markers on a polygon layer
- fixed server-side image marker bug where the transparent background is
  sometimes lost 

MapViewer server:

- 19128184 MARKER LABEL NOT SHOWN DUE TO INCORRECT OFFSET 
- 19003382 LINE FOI PATH DISAPPEARS WHEN ZOOMING IN 
- 16624074 UNABLE TO LOAD OTHER CONNECTIONS IN MAPBUILDER IF ADVANCED
  CONNECTION IS LOADED

and many other minor bugs.
