Inventory Contents Tab

Through the inventory panel, you can view the Oracle products you have already installed in the Oracle home or in your Oracle Applications Top directory (APPL_TOP). On Windows systems, the Environment tab shows the location of the central inventory. This tab is not available on UNIX systems. Refer to online help for the Inventory Environment tab for more information.

1. Click Details to display the attributes and values of the selected component.

2. Select products and click Remove to remove those products from your system. To remove the products, click Yes in the Confirmation dialog that follows. Click No to cancel the removal.

3. Click Save As to display the Save As... dialog. Enter the file name, file type, and location. The inventory as seen in the inventory tree will be saved in the file as text.

4. Check the Show empty homes option to view Oracle homes that have been created in the inventory, but are empty.

5. Click Close to close the dialog.

Notes:

• Although OUI can list all Oracle products previously installed with another installer (orainst), it cannot deinstall them.

• If you cannot click Deinstall at this time, it is because the de-installation is not allowed. The dependency analysis is done based on the already installed components.
