The End of Installation screen tells you whether or not the installation was successful and displays some important information that you must remember about the products you have installed. For example, it might contain information about the URLs for particular web applications. If necessary, write this information down so that you can remember it.
To view release notes for the products you have installed, click Release
Information. Note that this button appears only for certain
products. If the button does not appear, see the documentation page on OTN (http://otn.oracle.com/documentation/)
to locate the most recent Release Notes for this product.
For UNIX only: When OUI prompts you to enter a tool or command
to display the readme, you must enter xterm -e before the name
of the tool if you are using a tool such as vi or emacs
to view the readme.
For example, the following command brings up a separate xterm window that
immediately executes the vi filename command:
xterm -e vi filename
To exit from OUI, click Exit.
Note: Some Oracle products require additional configuration after you install the software. Some of these configuration assistants run automatically when the installation is complete; others prompt you with a dialog box as soon as you click Exit so you can decide whether or not you want to run the configuration assistant at this point in time.
If the software you are installing requires additional configuration assistants, OUI displays a dialog box. The dialog box prompts you to run any additional configuration assistants required.
