With OUI, software developers can automate the installation and removal of Oracle software. However, in some cases, certain types of information (such as passwords or other sensitive information) cannot be assumed or saved for later use when the product is deinstalled.
In those cases, the Deinstall Input dialog box prompts you for additional information that is required before the software can be removed from your computer.
Depending upon the type of information required by the deinstallation procedure, you may have to enter the information in a text field or select an option from a drop-down menu.
If you do not know how to respond to the prompt, check with your system administrator or the person who initially installed the software.
