Use this page to add cluster nodes to your installation. This allows you to extend your Oracle home to a new node. A list of cluster nodes that are already part of the installation are shown in the Existing Nodes table.
In the Specify New Nodes list, OUI displays all nodes of the cluster that are not part of the installation. Select the nodes you wish to add.
Note: To extend your cluster installation, you must first add the node(s) to the clusterware installation (e.g., Oracle Clusterware) before adding the node to the product installation (e.g., Oracle RAC). When adding nodes to a clusterware installation, you will be asked to provide the Public Node Names (accessible from external networks), Private Node Names (internal node name used by the cluster) and Virtual Host Names for each node you wish to add. Refer to your clusterware documentation for more information.
