JDeveloper allows you to publish a web service based on stateless ADF Business Components using the application module pooling facilities running in local mode, or using any of the other deployment modes supported by ADF Business Components.
First, you generate a J2EE web service from from the application module using the Application Module editor. See Generating a Web Service Class for an Application Module.
Before deploying the web service, you should edit the the
WebServices.deploy
deployment profile. See
Before Deploying a Web Service from an Application Module.
You can optimize the stateless use of the ADF Business Components application module pool. For more information, see Optimizing the ADF Business Components Application Module Pool for Web Services .
Note: When you create a web service from ADF Business Components, you should create the web service in a different to the one containing the business components, otherwise it is possible that one or more of the automatically generated files may overwrite existing files.
