Creating UIX XML Templates (UIT)

You can create a UIT file by either starting with an empty UIT file and adding individual UIX XML elements or generating a template with the UIX XML Template (UIT) with Header, Footer and Navigation Wizard. If you use the wizard, your template contains the following header, footer, and navigation elements:

Page title
Corporate branding
Product branding
Navigation (tabs, global headers, and global buttons)
Privacy information
Copyright information

Note: If you want to generate UIX XML pages based on a UIT, you must create the template with the UIX XML Template Wizard as described in Creating a Basic UIX XML Template with Header, Footer, and Navigation Elements because JDeveloper looks for a specific structure within the UIT.
