19.1 AutoVue Integration SDK

The 19.1 AutoVue Integration SDK lets you build an interface between AutoVue Client-Server Edition (CSE) and a Document Management System (DMS) or Product Lifecycle Management System (PLM).

  - Introduction

        The AutoVue Integration SDK is intended for third-party developers who want 
        to integrate AutoVue CSE with their DMS or PLM. This SDK is a Java-based
        implementation of the XML DMAPI specifications published by Cimmetry Systems Corp. 
        The AutoVue Integration SDK includes a sample integration of a simplified file system
	management (filesys). This sample integration is a starting point for a new 
	integration implementation and is a tool to help you become more familiar with the AutoVue 
	Integration SDK.
	
	If you want to get your integration Cimmetry-certified, refer to the Integration Certification 
	Test Plan bundled with this release of the AutoVue Integration SDK. This test plan contains 
	detailed test conditions for an integration that you develop using this SDK. You will need to
	submit test results to Cimmetry when you come in for the certification.

        	- Support for markup/redlining with markups being stored in filesys DMS data
		  structure. 
        	- Support for normal/master/consolidated markup types.
        	- Support for opening existing markups. 
        	- Support for saving existing and new markups. 
        	- Support for browsing the filesys DMS data structure. 
        	- Support for retrieving documents that match search criteria. 
        	- Support for file compare among versions of a document stored filesys DMS data
		  structure. 
        	- Support for file conversion (e.g., to TIFF format) stored inside filesys DMS data
		  structure. 
        	- Support for overriding behavior of simple DMAPI without need to recompile entire code.
        	- Support for Multiple levels of logging to log info related to requests and responses
        	- Provided with repository with preloaded data for sample integration.
        	- Support for loading new data in the filesys DMS data structure.
