Mobile Application (ADF)
Application Name
Use to create a new ADF Mobile application.
Application Name
Enter a name for the application. By default, an application name in the
form Applicationn is shown, where n is a number
that increases sequentially from 1. This is the filename that will be used
for the application control file within the file system. The extension .jws
is assumed, but not displayed.
Directory
Enter a directory for the application or click Browse to locate one. The default directory location is the Windows "My Documents"
directory, for example C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\JDeveloper\Application1.
Each application is given its own subdirectory beneath \JDeveloper.
Note 1: A related location is that for the JDeveloper
system settings. These are stored in the Windows "Application Data"
directory, for example C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application
Data\JDeveloper\system.
Note 2: If the JDeveloper application and
system settings directories are outside the JDeveloper program directory structure
(as they will be if you accept the defaults), your applications and system
settings will persist from one installation of JDeveloper to another. If you
require a "clean" installation after deleting all JDeveloper program
files, you will also need to delete the directories where the applications
and system settings are stored.
Application Package Prefix
If required, enter a prefix to be used for packages created within this
application. The prefix will be applied to objects created in the initial
project of an application. A period will be added automatically between the
prefix and the package name. If you want to, you will be able to override
the prefix entered here for each object created.
