The formats, as well as the layout variations applied to them, are reflected in the Edit List View dialog.

Categories
Select the basic format for the ADF Mobile List View component.

Simple
Choose to create a List View component with a text field that appears to the left of a list item.

Main-Sub Text
Choose to create a List View component with a prominent main text field that appears at the left side of the list item, with subordinate text below.

Start-End
Choose to create a list view component with text fields that appear on both the right and left sides of a list item.

Quadrant
Choose to create a List View component with text fields that appear at the four corners of each list item.

You can augment the layout by selecting an option in the Variations window. The Description window displays information about each of the selected types.

Variations
Select a variation of a selected List View format. These variants can include options for adding dividers and leading image, where an image is placed immediately before a list item's text field.

Basic
Choose when the text fields are not grouped by dividers and do not follow leading images.

Dividers
Choose to group text fields with dividers. Choosing this type of variation results in the Divider Attribute dropdown list in the Edit List View dialog to list the first attribute by default (as opposed to listing <No Divider> by default) and sets All as the default selection in the dialog's Divider Mode dropdown list.

Images
Choose to place an image immediately before a list item's text field.

Images and Dividers
Choose to group the text fields of a list item with dividers and also include leading images for the text fields.

Styles
Use to suppress chevrons or use an inset style. Chevrons appear by default.

Description
Provides a brief description that reflects currently selected list type (Simple, Main-Sub Text, Left-Right, Quadrant) and the details of the selected variation.
