This message appears if you did not run the catpatch.sql script when applying the 9.0.1.5 or 9.2.0.4 database patch set.
To fix this problem, exit Oracle Application Server Repository Creation Assistant and run the catpatch.sql script on the database.
If the Windows operating system crashes and the computer reboots automatically when Oracle Application Server Repository Creation Assistant loads the OracleAS Metadata Repository into a Real Application Clusters database that uses raw devices, one possible reason is that the hardware is stalling.
To fix this problem, set the following registry key to a larger value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ OraFenceService \ Timeout
The default timeout value is 5 (in seconds). Increase it to 60 seconds. You have to specify the value in hexadecimal notation: to specify 60, enter 3c.
After changing the value, run Oracle Application Server Repository Creation Assistant again.
