Oracle E-Business Suite Certified Configuration enhances the Oracle E-Business Suite technology stack by delivering a predictable installation and configuration process. This process allows quick and reliable installation and configuration of an Oracle environment, and reduces the support costs associated with those tasks.
Oracle E-Business Suite Certified Configuration is installed with the latest Oracle E-Business Suite software, and is preconfigured to Outsourcing rules and policies. Installing a preconfigured system allows Oracle support personnel to deliver the highest level of service.
Oracle E-Business Suite Outsourcing provides three separate Oracle E-Business Suite environments: Production (PROD), Development (DEV), and Test (TEST). The Production environment runs the customer production application system. The Development environment provides an isolated environment for CEMLI (Configurations, Extensions, Modifications, Localizations, and Integrations), and multi-phase development. TEST serves as a test location for any further development activities. TEST is also used for problem diagnostics and resolution. Services for these environments vary, based on type.

Oracle E-Business Suite Certified Configuration is a complete software stack that integrates hardware, operating system, and complete products into a single solution. It includes Oracle Applications with enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), Oracle Internet Directory, On-line Analytical Processing (OLAP), configuration, deployment, management, and patching tools.
You can manage the entire Oracle E-Business Suite Certified Configuration installation by using Oracle Enterprise Manager on any client with a browser. In addition, if you choose to run installations through Oracle Outsourcing, then you can benefit from services such as the Outsourcing Patch Tracking System (PTS), and Oracle Outsourcing system administration.
