This is a text description of Figure 9-4, "Using Oracle Stored Procedures with DB2/400".

The functions illustrated in the figure are described in the surrounding text, section "Using DRDA Server Stored Procedures with the Gateway".

This is a simplified view of running a DB2 stored procedure on an Oracle application by calling the stored procedure through the Oracle9i database server. The stored procedure accesses data in DB2 by using the gateway (TG4DB2/400).

In this example, "emproc" is a DB2/MVS stored procedure.
