A Client is shown connecting to an Oracle database server by means of Oracle Net. The Oracle application defines the array.

The Oracle database server connects by means of Oracle Net to an AS/400 computer. In this connection, as in the client connection, the Oracle application defines the array.

The DB2/400 database and the gateway (TG4BD2/400) are operating within the As/400 computer.
