Delete a Suspense Record

Suspense records can only be deleted if they are in Open status and are not attached to a policy. If the Delete button is not visible, then the suspense record cannot be deleted.

Steps to Delete a Suspense Record

  1. Search Suspense using the Unified Search method either by entering the Suspense Number, Policy Number, Batch Number, or using the wild card (%). When more than one results are returned from the search, scroll down and click the Suspense record to see the details. The Suspense screen appears.

  2. Click <Suspense Number> link. The Suspense window opens.

  3. Click Delete. If the Delete button is not available, then the record cannot be deleted.

  4. Click OK when the confirmation window appears and asks for confirmation of the delete.

  5. Click the Accounting tab, then two records are displayed, where one is a debit and the other is a credit.
