Required changes

You must make the changes specified in this section, if they apply to your application.

Changes to the Liferay licensing model
Prior to version 1.5, the first time you started the Discovery Framework, you were prompted to enter the Liferay license key.
Changes required by JQuery and endeca-async upgrades
Prior to version 1.4, the Discovery Framework used jQuery 1.2.6, which is the version of jQuery supplied by Liferay. jQuery was available in the jQuery variable.
