Formatting Custom Data
You now have some
formatting options when working with custom data.
Depending on your use
case and searching needs, you may not feel the need to repeat the row header
over and over again throughout the section.
You can add the “hide header” tag to the repeatable row’s Row Header
Information popup to accomplish this.

Figure 1. Section Displaying Row Headers

Figure 2. Same section leveraging the Hide Header tag
This tag can be used
on all row types, repeatable and none repeatable. When all rows of a custom section contain the
Hide Header tag the entire row header column will be hidden. If only a few rows out of the set have the
Hide Header tag the bold text in the cell will be hidden on those rows.
Important Note:
Error messages and advanced custom section searching still leverage the row
header name.
Depending on your use
case and searching needs, you may want to display multiple sections under one
header.
To create a section
with a hidden header, perform the following steps:
1.
Create
the custom sections following the same steps as outlined in the Agile Product Lifecycle Management for
Process Administrator User Guide.
2.
Select
the Hide Header checkbox on the Custom Section templates that will be shown in
the second position as shown in the following figure:

3.
Make
sure to adjust the display order of the custom sections so they display
appropriately. Use the Custom Section
Order tool in ADMN, as shown below.
Notice how the Fact Panel section is displayed above the Fact Panel
Nutrient Values section.

Figure 4. Custom Section Order tool
Below is an example
of the sections displayed as one compound section, notice the first section
listed is titled as Fact Panel, while the second section is titled Fact Panel
Nutrient Values and its header is hidden:

Important Note:
Remember that if users are using the Advanced custom data search method they
will need to reference the name of the section with the hidden header. So the name of the section should be very
descriptive or training will need to be provided. These values can also be searched using the
quick method where the section name is not needed.
To format an extended
attribute, perform the following steps:
1. Create the
extended attribute following the same steps as outlined in the Agile Product Lifecycle Management for
Process Administrator User Guide.
2. Select the bold
and/or italics tags, as shown below:

Example of bolded
extended attributes:
